Ipswich Nightsafe
Ipswich crime rates are some of the lowest in the country and Suffolk remains one of the safest places to live,
however, alcohol-related violence and disorder continues to cause concern.
Ipswich Police has a dedicated town centre unit, which is committed to tackling these problems and has already achieved
one of the highest detection rates in the country as part of the Suffolk First initiative to prevent and solve more
crime, supported by high-profile policing.
